DIVISION ORDER ANALYST- Austin, TX
Brigham Exploration Company (BEXP) is a premier domestic oil & gas exploration and production company headquartered in Austin, TX. Brigham has an opening for an experienced oil and gas Division Order Analyst who has a desire to live in the Austin area. Applicants whom don’t meet the minimum requirements will not be considered. Competitive salaries are commensurate with experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience with title and division order activities in connection with domestic producing properties as well as a strong math aptitude
- Should be proficient in Word and Excel

DRILLING/COMPLETION ENGINEER(s)- Austin, TX
Brigham Exploration Company (BEXP) is a premier domestic oil & gas exploration and production company headquartered in Austin, TX. Brigham has an opening for two full-time Drilling and/or Completions Engineers who has a desire to live in the Austin area. Candidates must have horizontal drilling experience to be considered and a minimum of four years experience as a Drilling and/or Completions Engineer. Resource Play experience is a definite plus. Some travel will be required. Applicants whom don’t meet the minimum requirements will not be considered. Competitive salaries are commensurate with experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS
- Must have good project management experience
- Must be able to assess risk, design completions from start to finish
- Must be able to plan budgets, costs and estimates to evaluate the economic viability of potential drilling sites
- Monitor production rates, and plan rework processes to improve production
- Must have good leadership and supervisory skills to manage contractors and/or service providers
- Analyze data to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production
- Specify and supervise well modification and stimulation programs to maximize oil and gas recovery
- Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, or well surveys
- Assist engineering and other personnel to solve operating problems
- Develop plans for oil and gas field drilling and product recovery
- Maintain records of drilling and production operations
- Confer with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve design, research, and testing problems
- Should have good communication and organization skills and the ability to work independently and with a team engineers, landmen and geophysical personnel
PURCHASING & MATERIALS AGENT - OIL & GAS
Brigham Exploration Company (BEXP) is a premier domestic oil & gas exploration and production company headquartered in Austin, TX. Brigham has an opening for a Purchasing & Materials Agent with a minimum of 3 yrs of oil & gas purchasing & materials exp. The position will be located in Brigham’s corporate headquarters in Austin, TX. Relocation considered. Computer skills required. Travel is required. Competitive salaries are commensurate with experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS
- Must have strong project management and negotiation skills and the ability to deal with third parties, vendors & employees in a professional and business like manner
- Should have good communication and organization skills and the ability to work independently and with a team of engineers
- Procure materials, supplies, equipment and vendor services at a favorable cost
- Manage inventories of oil field tubulars and equipment
- Evaluate & recommend sources, products and supplies with effective cost management
- Provide assistance with expediting orders & communicating effectively regarding issues affecting production schedules.
- Must be familiar with processing purchase requisitions, expediting purchased materials and developing inventory forecasts.
- Must be able to prioritize & maintain & track documentation including the processing of purchase orders and obtaining favorable bids.
