Statoil is searching for an experienced Volume Control Analyst for its Austin, TX office. This position will be responsible for the allocation and reconciliation of Statoil's upstream gathering systems and support of the Product Marketing Manager. Oil and gas experience and experience working in a matrixed organization is preferred.

Required skills:

• Work closely with field staff, production engineers and revenue accounting to gather and allocate volume data for oil, gas and water gathering systems
• Support Product Marketing Manager with contract administration, nominations, invoicing, and preparing internally required reports
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Must have advanced Word and Excel skills and ability to use multiple database platforms
• Reconcile and resolve pipeline imbalances
• Prepare monthly invoices for processing, transportation and disposal
• Produce ad hoc reports and queries
• Interface with purchasers, transporters and other third parties

The following skills will be considered a plus:

• Experience with upstream production allocation systems
• Experience with the measurement and reporting of oil and gas production
• Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, oil and gas marketing, production operations, production allocation or production accounting
• Must have leadership skills and the ability to independently manage workload

• Confer with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve design, research, and testing problems
• Should have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and with a team of engineers, landmen and geophysical personnel
